my taxes should be easier but the are issues with clarity in IRS's and rollovers. Information lacking on why something is not add to return even though it been requested like income

Easy to use....No mistakes to be made!

Love the product/program. Been using it for 10 years and helping all my family members with their taxes too. I've never had a problem with any version, which I have used basic up to business. They are all very easy to use and navigate thru. Anyone can do it!!! Highly recommend TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy to fix a mistake - Everything is completely explained - You can file for more than 1 person
What's not so great: NOTHING - seriously

The steps for the return went smoothly for the most part. I have used HR Block's product and Taxact and this product is comparable in terms of usability. I like how easy it is to return to a particular section and make adjustments when the realization happens that some number was supposed to be entered in a earlier section.
Got to end and had a error in my state tax that referred to a sheet noting business expenses when I am only filing as an individual. The link to the tax forum was helpful but it seemed there were several others with the same problem but no real solution. I found a workaround however and was able to efile.
What's great about it: easy step by step and informative help, links that for most part worked
What's not so great: incessant error that I had to find a workaround in order to file

Great, but...

Handled everything, just like usual. However, we donated a car this year and the first time through did not recognize i needed the 8453. After hour+ putzing with the forms manually got everything to print per regulation and tell us we needed the form.
Final trip to the end printed the form as expected. Hopefully IRS will agree!!!
What's great about it: Never failed me for the last 20 years!
What's not so great: Missed one thing

Software is very easy to follow, anyone can file their own taxes with Turbo Tax easy to use software.

Good Product (A bit pricey)...

I participated in a research project in 2014, but not 2015. The product would not let me delete the previous year information and would not let me file my taxes electronically because of errors caused by this portion of the software. After 20 attempts I got it to file, but it is not correct. Please fix, so it doesn't cause future problems.
What's great about it: Gets the job done
What's not so great: Poor research participant income portion of tax software.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used this over 5 years now and each year it gets easier. If I have a question, the examples help explain what is meant by the questions. I also received valid information for next years tax season when i have working dependents as well as them having jobs.
Thanks turbo tax!
What's great about it: explinations and examples were great
What's not so great: it did not pull my information from prior years.
