Have used turbo tax for many years now with absolutely no issues. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to do their own taxes.
What's great about it: easy to use, walks you through each step, assistance always available

hidden fees I paid

I had to pay to file for the state and pay to have my refund deposited into my account. This is the last year I use TurboTax. I always buy my copy and keep it but found out the government has the same software for no extra fees.
What's not so great: hidden fees I paid

File Federal Tax Return with Confidence

Excellent product. I filed my federal tax return with confidence.
What's great about it: Seemed very thorough for my moderately complex return.
What's not so great: Prior year figures are available, but would like abilty to get more detail for analysis and comparison.
