NEW STATE TAXES UGGGH!

FOR THE CHANGES THERE WERE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN EXPLAINED A LOT BETTER AND EASIER.
What's great about it: SURE GLAD THERE WASNT MUCH AFTER THE CHANGES
What's not so great: EXPLANATIONS WERE NOT CLEAR ENOUGH. I WAS CHECKING ON IRS WEBSITE AND STATE JUST TO SEE IF YOU WERE RIGHT.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Work needed

I like using Turbo Tax but I find the closing, previewing and working with the Preview and Printing a necessary evil. It is not straightforward and the instructions are confusing.
What's great about it: Thoroughness
What's not so great: Confusing and time wasting finalyzing.

This was BY FAR, the worst Turbo Tax experience I have ever had (over 10 consecutive years). I am moving on without recognition of this.
What's great about it: Was finally able to file on time
What's not so great: I had to keep repeating infromation. Even after all was reviewed and accepted.

I've used turbotax for many years now, and while its design and simple functionality is wonderful, i just can't seem to understand why intuit raises their prices on a yearly basis.
Bottom line: If you're looking for something easy to use with good reliability,then turbotax is great. Just as long if you don't mind shelling out the cash.
What's great about it: simple,painless,well designed
What's not so great: price price, price
