Happy long time user

I have used Turbo Tax since 1992 and it simply gets easier to use every year. Never had a problem. The IRS questioned my return for 2012 and it turned out that Turbo Tax was right.
What's great about it: Easy and Accurate

I have used Turbo tax many times before and this year was a little frustrating!! It was asking for more info but when I went back to try and update the info needed it was nowhere to be found!?
What's great about it: Walks you through pretty easily
What's not so great: Does not explain questions real well!!

Highly recommended...by me.
It is simply the best.
What's great about it: Had all the tax tools I needed
What's not so great: I still had to mow the lawn today
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Carryover problem
on April 18, 2016
Posted by: BakeryBill
- for 2 years (at least) the carryover from a NOL has caused problems completing a return and the TuTx tool does not allow you to clear input once you are "registered" - the subject carryover was due to a close/NOL of a business which no longer operates - in the "fix" Federal issues mode several screens pop up asking for business input about use of a vehicle and other assorted business expenses. It is NOT clear what to do with these screens (bypass? enter a "0" value?). The screens ask for yes/no, or data input. There is not an ignore option. - when doing a final check I input "0" for the values of expenses and it completely changed the final tax due amount - I was UNABLE to reverse or clear this input....got a message saying couldn't clear the return because it was already "registered". - I was directed to completely start over. This is unacceptable. There should be no point in the filing process where a customer can't make corrections or edits. VERY FRUSTRATING. 2 YEARS a problem. Please fix before next season!
What's great about it: mostly clear questions
What's not so great: - for 2 years has caused "carryover" problems

Mail in file was difficult

Over all, was good software. There was no pop-up to mail in state tax forms. "Help" instructions not accurate either. Very disappointing way to finish.

Need to provide a separate description of the various lines of the tax forms
What's great about it: Lots of white space
What's not so great: Need to be able to adjust the view ( too small on my tablet
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
