Easier than last year

Turbo Tax was much easier to use than software I used last year. The only strenuous part of the software was the security section, but it loaded successfully.
What's great about it: Appreciated the guided tour
What's not so great: Some data was hard to locate

Wish You Knew Where I Live

Software notes I live in Florida and do not need to file state taxes, then asks me multiple times on the next screens if I want to purchase the state tax add on. If the one screen knows I live in Florida and do not need this, why does the software keep trying to sell it to me?
What's great about it: Great interface, easy to use

way more difficult this year

did not ask for my SS tips (box7) this year. Has for the last 3 years. Caused me lots of drama.
State form was a complete hassle. Asked for school district # and had no easy look up for it.

Excellent Software product - Love it!

TurboTax is a real good product. I and my wife started using the product for past 3 years and very happy with the experience.
I request team to consider the following improvements if possible:
1) The final check utility should do checks as though it is ready for filing. Looks like few fields came up just before filing!
2) W2 forms should be read by software instead of making someone look for numbers and read..

My 2015 Tax Experience

I included business expenses (unreimbursed office supplies, business gift and business meal expenses) for the first time in some time. All went well and I saw the deductions included on Schedule A but I could not find Form 2106 when I printed out the federal return. That was very concerning to me and I checked and checked several times to find it. I did see it as a form listed as Form in My Return when I looked at a preview but when I printed out the final form it was not there. I have saved a PDF of the whole document, all worksheets and that form and although I have transmitted my returns I am still concerned that there might be a problem. I checked all the HELP sections that I could find...but time grew late and I had to transmit. So off it went. But I should not have to worry about this since I've done all that I'm supposed to do.
What's great about it: Easy to use if you have your docs organized
What's not so great: Difficulty with Form 2106

Great Program

The reason for using this program was so I could e-file due to no printer, now how do I file. if the last date to file was today 4-18-2016, the E-File should be available, WHAT DO I DO NOW TO HAVE IT FILED IN TIME???????????
What's great about it: Wals you through everything
What's not so great: Won't let me e-file today and I can't print, my printer is broken

Since you have to do Taxes

This is an excellent product. I have been a loyal customer for many years. Most years it is an easy proposition and things go well and without a hitch. Some years are more complicated but the software is usually good as is available support
What's great about it: Easy and guided
What's not so great: Sometimes the explanations are not clear
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
