I have used Turbo Tax products for as long as they have been around. I have the floppy disk of the first time I used Turbo Tax and I will commend your team for all the improvements you have made to this product.

2015 Fed and State Turbo Tax Deluxe

1. I was electronically filing my 2015 Fed Tax. Turbo Tax did all the error checking, but after I pushed the final continue (the one that says it can't be un-done), Turbo Tax came back and said a 1099-R form was incomplete. It did not have the Recipients name and address. I entered it at that time. HOW DID THIS GET BY ALL THE ERROR CHECKING???? It make me wonder what other errors is Turbo tax letting get by undetected.
2. Printing the return to send off by U.S. mail. Turbo Tax prints the mailing instructions first and then starts printing the Fed. 1040 on the back side. Page two of the 1040 is printed on a separate page with something else on the back side of it.
This happens when printing Minn. state return. Turbo Tax should do a page eject before starting the Fed form 1040, and the state form so they start out on a new sheet.
This problem has been going on for years.

3. The Minn Property Tax Refund form M1PR also prints in the middle of the the Minn State Income Tax printouts. The first page prints on the back side of some other form, the second page prints on the front of other forms. THIS PROPERTY TAX FORM IS SENT TO A DIFFERENT U.S. ADDRESS FROM THE MINN STATE TAX FORMS.
That means that the all the Minn state forms have to be printed manually one form at a time to keep the Property Tax form separate. This has been happening for years also.
Turbo Tax needs to separate out the Property Tax Forms so they are printed separately from the state tax forms.

Used TurboTax again for another year

I have been using TurboTax for several years and have always found it to be a very straight forward method of doing my taxes. I have had some very different tax situations over the different years including being a W2 employee, a self employed contractor and one year even both during the course of the same year. But no matter the level of complication, TurboTax was money well spent both for the time savings and the deductions found.
What's great about it: It is very easy to collect and enter the data needed to file.
What's not so great: Printing options could be a bit better organized

My 2 cents is, TURBOTAX: Just an awesome software, user friendly, and I am a veteran using turbotax for over 10+ years. Kudos to the software developer...and I will highly recommend it to one and all.

Great experience as always ... but ...

I love TurboTax and use it every year, but this year for some reason, the emails I got made me think I should go the online route. Which was a mistake. I entered a ton of data online, then switched to the download version. So none of my 2014 data carried forward for year over year comparisons. Bummer.
What's great about it: Guides you step by step, with good help text just a click away
What's not so great: Difficult to figure out the online vs download options
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It Doesn't Get Any Easier!

This is my 7th year using TurboTax. I'll be using it again next year!! There is no guess work. Just answer the questions. It is also very easy to stop it, save it and then go back to where you left off.
What's great about it: Very simple, easy to follow steps
What's not so great: Can't think of a thing
