Concerns With Deductions

When making changes to previously entered deductions, the amount of my refund did not always increase, as I would expect it to do.
What's great about it: Easy Entry
What's not so great: Not sure I got all of my deductions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Estimated Tax Payments

The Estimated Tax Payments expect my tax situation to stay exactly the same in the following year. That didn't happen this year and probably won't next year. There should be a mechanism for changing those Vouchers.
What's great about it: Great to have Vouchers printed
What's not so great: Not enough to save me from paying penalty for underpayment

Best thing - even more than sliced bread

Why do I wait until the last minute to do taxes every year - I just don't know, but thank you Turbo Tax for providing such an affordable and easy program to use. It's so easy that even I can scratch my way around the file cabinet and desk and finish the entire filing within 4 hours (and I read many of the explanations). Outstanding product.
What's great about it: Finally a product that works as described! It asks and you answer/input. Great explanations to confusing tax "rules".
What's not so great: There is no "Double your Refund" scratch off ticket. In other words, NO CONS.

Fore 12 years running, I have used Turbo Tax and quickly and quickly and accurately complete my tax return. Thank you for minimizing the pain.
What's great about it: Up-to-date, informative, and easy to use. Populates basic data.
What's not so great: It costs money

EZ Navigation for the Novice

I have been an avid user of TurboTax for well over the past 10 years, filing my own taxes and I've been quite pleased.
I have noticed gradual changes that have made it easier and easier each year. I will continue to use it as my preferred method of filing my taxes, at least for now until I inherit my billion dollars from my unknown ! :-)
What's great about it: EZ to USE navigate, user friendly
What's not so great: None off the top of my head...
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Nice to be able to take care of this in my home for a lot less than paying someone else!
