Great product, Terrible Experience

Due to some glitch in the Intuit software, every time I tried to work on my return (after I had closed it), I was unable to reopen the file. I spent HOURS online with your tech department, and they were wonderful, and I even ended up putting it on another computer. However, it kept crashing on that one as well. Finally, exasperated, I went online and researched it myself, finding a different way to uninstall and reinstall the program (I use a MAC). I followed these directions and it worked as long as I did not close out the program and reopen it. After multiple installs, I finally decided to keep it open for the week I needed to prepare my taxes. Finally, it worked.
What's great about it: As always, TurboTax provides easy tax preparation
What's not so great: Glitch in the software this year created an absolute nightmare for me

Another Great Year with TurboTax

I wished there were more guidance on the sale and purchase of a new home. I found this section to be complicated and confusing.
What's great about it: Makes it easy to go through each step and feel confident the returns are filed correctly.
What's not so great: Housing Information

I've used TurboTax for years, and I have found that it just keeps getting better. It will be hard for them to top this year, as it was a flawless and EASY way to prepare and file taxes! (and I do itemize deductions!)
What's great about it: Quick, thorough, easy-to-follow instructions.

Really Easy

Overall, really easy to use and good product. I didn't appreciate all of the extra costs, I think I would have liked it more if I was told initially what I would have to pay for certain things. It was my first time filing, so i did not know a lot of the terms or forms i needed (with that being said, I did not use the chat service). But I really did like how easy it was to use overall, everything was pretty much laid out and I like the "walk through" feature for people who have never done their own taxes, as well as the "explore on your own" feature for those who are veterans.
What's not so great: some of the questions did not have as many descriptions as i would have liked.
