Quick and easy

I must say that I don't fear tax time as I did for many years before I started using Turbo Tax. I don't mind going through my paper work now as I know exactly what to save through out the year.
I have grown so much better at organizing my tax papers and the
stress releaf I now feel at tax time is inmesurable thanks to the use of Turbo Tax. I only wish I would have started using Turbo Tax many years ago.

What's great about it: Answeres for all questions are quick and easy to find

The software gets buggier every year

This is likely to be my last year using TurboTax. The software just doesn't work that well.
What's not so great: Probably more difficult than completing PDF files available from tax authorities

I used the step by step method which I found very easy to use and understand.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Help available.

it would be handy to have the ability to do a manual copy of all sheets used not just the ones selected as part of tjhe filing data

Just about perfect

Just about everything works great with Turbo Tax until one gets to printing out forms. This area could be improved by specifying more clearly how many pages there are to each form one is printing.
It also insists on printing and/or including forms in the saved PDF tax file whether or not one wants them included. For example, I do not want to print or even include the Smart Worksheets for either the federal form or my state form in the PDF file.
My workaround to avoid printing them is to first save just the pages that I want to a PDF, then when selecting Print, I don't select Print All, but instead I print all of the pages except for the two Smart Worksheets. It can be done, but I have to ask, why? Why does Turbo Tax insist that they be included. Please changed this feature to make it more user friendly.
What's great about it: Transfer info from year-to-year; no starting from scratch!
What's not so great: Hard to pick ONLY those forms that one wants to print

Errors in Office Expenses

Easiest ever

TurboTax seemed to be more effortless this year with a lot of the calculations being faster. The added security questions were welcome with all the tax fraud issues you hear about.
