CHECK THE DISC AT THE STORE

When you purchase the software from a box store make sure you buy the one just above the one you think you need and read the label very carefully. Secondly, open the box before you leave the store. I had to go back because the disc was broken inside the box. Happy tax day
What's great about it: It's very easy to use if you have the right one.
What's not so great: having the wrong one affects your tax outcome
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been successfully using TurboTax for the last 5 years with no complaints.
What's great about it: Simple to use, concise, cost effective option
What's not so great: Should always offer lowest price re-purchase for prior valid users.

Great product - Great customer support

This year was first time we had to file a separate return for our college son so the two tax returns were intertwined making it a little more challenging.
Turbo Tax program was very good with pop-up notes when info on one return should be (or how to) reflected in the other return.
Only had one glitch which was caused by how a 1099-R showed information, which caused the state to not e-file, but with customer support we found how the info should be shown correctly which cleared up the problem.

What's great about it: When (IF) you run into an issue, customer support saves the day!
What's not so great: No cons with Turbo Tax, just with IRS laws and codes.
