Do It Yourself with Confidence

My tax situation is not difficult, but I like that TurboTax holds my hand while I'm preparing my tax forms.
What's great about it: Screens are easy to click through and lots of information is provided
What's not so great: State taxes owed could not be paid from federal refund for free - need to upgrade to Premier for this

As I listed as a con, when you are showing me all the things we have already checked or filled in, the latest thing goes on the bottom of the list. It would be easier for all of us if the last thing we did is at the top of the list. I hate scrolling down every time. But really, that is just a little nit, if you never change that, it is still a great program and saves me from strangling myself every year! Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: asks all the right questions, has plenty of explanation
What's not so great: latest info should show at the top of the list, instead of the bottom.

I hate Tax Time, but I love TurboTax.

I hate doing taxes, but TurboTax makes it very easy and simple to complete our taxes in a short period of time. I procrastinated this year but planned to start taxes on Monday 11 April. My desktop computer had problems and had to be sent back to the manufacture. Fortunately I had backed up my data, but I did not know until Friday that my computer had to go to the factory. I started actually imputing data into TurboTax at 9:30pm Sunday and I finish at 3:41am Monday morning. If I did not have TurboTax, I would be filing for an extension now instead of writing a great review for TurboTax. If you have to do the taxes in you home, you have to have TurboTax.
What's great about it: Questions are clear and concise make it a easy experience
What's not so great: Nothing
