Disappointed with having to pay taxes and this was

Had the most difficult time ever in using this year as explanations
were the hardest to understand and I had to clean up a lot of items compared to prior years. It took me much longer to complete than ever before when using this years forms.

What's great about it: Covered every thing I needed, but was the hardest to work with.
What's not so great: Very difficult to work with this year, as explanations were hard to understand

I'm Back

I'm back, after stating last year that I would never use TurboTax again. Well other tax software would not download from my financial advisor so I'm back with TurboTax. It is still the easiest to use and understand and it downloads from my financial advisor which is the main reason that I use tax preparation software. I'm in my 70's and I guess I'm back for life (I've been using since the mid-1990's) unless the price goes through the roof!
What's great about it: Easy, fast and accurate.
What's not so great: Picky about more than one state!

Easy filing

Overall, have been pleased with results for the past several years. Will keep using.
What's great about it: Walked me through the process quickly.
What's not so great: Auto fees deduction section. Our state has personal prop tax on vehicles and trailers in addition to the RV's etc.

First time Turbo Tax Filer

A breeze. It has broken the myth of scary tax codes and its audit possibility thereafter. I feel peace of mind and certainly save tons of money by not going to those name brand tax file services.
What's great about it: Warm and personal touch on top of informative and intuitive GUI
What's not so great: Can't think of anything yet.

I was disappointed to find that all my info did not transfer over to the State form as it was suppose to.Taxes paid into the State on a W-2G form did not transfer to the State form as taxed paid into the State. The taypayer had no tax due, but because Turbo Tax did not show taxes paid in, it resulted in no refund for the taxpayer. I could not edit the State form!
What's great about it: Easy to use, very accurate.
What's not so great: A little misleading on some questions.

Dreadful

Stuck in TT nightmare. Been using TT for 10 years. each year gets a little but worse. Latest disaster is I have > 50 stock sales. there is a $14 input error on one of these sales. Unless this occurred in the 1st 50 sales, there is no way to correct. Now TT says I cannot file because of the discrepancy. From this point on, I will never use TT again.
What's great about it: seriously?
What's not so great: Everything
