iT IS QUICK AND EASY PROVIDED YOU ALL PAPERWORK

PROVIDED YOU HAVE ALL YOUR PAPERWORK -- W-2 ETC -- CORRECT DATA TO DOWNLOAD FROM BANKS AND JOBS -- IT IS EASY TO USE
What's great about it: WITH ALL PAPERWORK TAKES ABOUT 4 HOURS
What's not so great: FREEZES UP AND HAVE TO RE-BOOT OR RESTART FILE
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Fairly straight forward with one exception

Filing the return was pretty straight forward except that I had to spread it out over several days. The software had some glitch while processing the health coverage section and the program would say processing without moving on. I had to save and shut down and wait a couple of days hoping for software updates. It eventually worked but I was worried for a while.
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions
What's not so great: Issue with Health Coverage/processing section

I THINK IT WAS IN THE 1990'S WHEN I DISCOVERED TURBO TAX. NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY TAXES. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PLACE THE NUMBERS ON THE CORRECT LINES.YOU DON'T NEED A CALCULATOR OR AN ERASER.WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TURBO TAX TO ANYONE WHO WANTS AN ACCURATE WAY TO DO THEIR TAXES.

Glad that's done!

This is the 22th year we have used TurboTax and we find that even with some of the confusing parts of the tax code, TurboTax guides us to our biggest refund without raising our fear of being audited.
What's great about it: Step-by-step for parts that are complex is great, and the diy portions for the areas that are old hat are both great .
What's not so great: Some of our investment numbers are easy to put in twice or leave out. Where some things go gets confusing.

Very Easy to Use

I used to get our taxes prepared by a CPA. I watched him type numbers in the computer and thought,"he is probably just using Turbo Tax". I bought a copy and breezed through the Federal, State, and school district first time through. If you've put this off before, stop. It's worth the money and like the comercial shows, it's so easy, anyone can do it!
What's great about it: walks you through everything. Not confusing
What's not so great: couldn't find any
