Fed return fantastic, State return needs tweaking

Overall a fabulous product. The value for a federal return and one state is tough to beat. My only criticism is that for a second state return that requires a spousal percentage calculation, this extra charge fell short. I was originally given a large amount owed for a very quick download and form fill in. It wasn't until I was able to look at each form for the Missouri return where I spotted the error. The tax paid to the other state (KS) fell into one wage earner and didn't calculate the proper value. Once re-figured on a manual re-entry, the large amount owed converted to a small return.
What's great about it: easy install, quick updates, simple instructions
What's not so great: State return for Missouri didn't calculate Credit for other States
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I love your thorough step by step process, which prevents me from missing anything I might not have thought of. But I also like being able to pick only what I want to review when I remember something I want to take another look at.
What's great about it: It's more streamlined this year; requires fewer clicks.
What's not so great: It would be great if you could process my payment to NC without me having to go to the NC DOR site.

TurboTax Deluxe CD v/s turbotax.com
on April 17, 2016

Purchased TurboTax Deluxe CD. Entered all info and TurboTax double checked all forms and gave the OK to file. After e-filing Federal, NJ and NY forms, I received 3 e-mails and text messages that all 3 returns were rejected. The reason for the rejection was "F1099R-502-02 - The Payer Federal Id Number entered does not match what the IRS has in its records." (One number was typed incorrectly). I tried to fix the error, but instead "amended" the returns. I was not allowed to e-file the amended returns. It was difficult to find a number to call for help until I typed in the question, "How do find phone # to speak to a representative?" The rep was extremely helpful and was able to help me correct and e-file my Federal return. However, I was not able to delete the amended state forms, could not e-file them and was told I would have to mail my state returns. The Rep told me that if I had used the online version instead of the desk top CD software, the error would have been caught prior to allowing me to submit as all FIN's are checked against a list for accuracy. The CD should have the same capability. When I reprinted the forms, they showed that I had already received my refunds. Called Customer Service again and with their help, was able to delete the amended forms and e-file both state forms. Next year, I will use the online version.
What's great about it: Very easy to download and enter information. Great customer service.
What's not so great: Finding a number to contact customer service. Ability to check EIN's for accuracy.
