Frequent crashes

A long time TurboTax customer (Tax Advantage), was disappointed that the TurboTax Deluxe 2015 for the Mac crashed so frequently. The solution offered to the problem was uninstall and reinstall. The really great news, however, was that the user did not lose the previously entered data when it crashed. I switched from a Windows PC to a MacBook 2 years ago. I didn't have this issue last year. I will try the product next year because TurboTax has been such an excellent product and all that I lost was time.
What's great about it: When it crashed, no loss of previously entered data
What's not so great: too many crashes in TurboTax Deluxe for the Mac 2015.

I began my taxes on my new laptop with windows 10... it would never complete any updates, which was very very aggravating. Thank goodness my roommate had an older laptop for me to be able to finish.
What's great about it: very simple
What's not so great: did NOT!! work with windows 10

I have been a happy user of Turbo Tax for many years. Never had a bad experience using the software. Always accurate.

When signing electronically, the Illinois AGI amount for the spouse, Married filing joint, could use a little note stating, "use the same amount for both spouses".

It was easy to navigate and the explanations were easy to understand.
What's great about it: stepped me through everything

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Right questions

While working on Turbo Tax - if a figure was left out by error - there would be a pop-up asking you to review the last figure entered. It was so much easier to check the information you just entered or left out by mistake.
We have used Turbo Tax since it was put on the market, so you can tell that I like using this tax program.

Been using TurboTax for years and wouldn't use anything else. It walks me through all the forms or lets me wander on my own.
What's great about it: Fast and easy
What's not so great: Too much information
