Though I love Turbo Tax, and am grateful for the product they provide, I would prefer a more straight forward and simple tax code. I really like the flat tax ideas that are floating. Moreover, Even with that, I will use Turbo Tax as a matter of loyalty.
The nickname thing on this review tool is WAY TOO HARD it took me 20 tries to get one to work.

TurboTax Keeps Getting Better

I've been using TurboTax for over ten years now. Every year they keep getting better and better. Easier to use, more natural flow of questioning. Helpful resources easily at hand.
What's great about it: The questioning process is becoming more natural.
What's not so great: It's still income taxes.

Problem with NYS nonresident return

What's great about it: Appreciate the overall functionality and interface. Saved me a lot of time, particularly filing three returns
What's not so great: Gave me an erroneous error message about solar and wind carryover credit that prevented me from filing electronically.

Missing Confirmation regarding Local filing

I completed the section regarding local taxes and paid extra for the filing. I was aware it was an extra cost. TurboTax confirmed my Federal and State taxes were filed. Sooo, what about the local/city tax? Was it completed? I can't tell. Now, I will have to file it separately to be sure. I mentioned that I knew filing the local would be an extra cost, but TurboTax didn't make it clear at that time and the amount.
What's not so great: Not sure if TurboTax filed my local/city taxes
