Awesome Experience!

Loved using TurboTax. Simple, clear, precise. Some areas are a little confusing, but I managed to work it out. I love the step-by-step guidance and good feeling while preparing my taxes. I will continue to use TurboTax every year and save the high CPA fees!

Fine, just a couple of quirks

Everything went fine with the taxes, except when it was done, it did not add my bank info into my state returns. I let it import the data from last year, thru the .tax2014 file, it carried over the Fed info and bank info but never did import it in the state. I do the same way every year. Don't know if it was a quirk or an issue. But other than that, everything seemed fine
What's great about it: Fast to get my taxes completed
What's not so great: State form didnt ask for bank info

In spite of the name, it's not exactly intuitive when itemizing charitable gift deductions to match items to the selections in the software. On the other hand, it isn't a major difficulty, either.
All in all, it's a much easier process than wading through all the forms on your own.

What's not so great: A bit tedious to find good descriptive matches for donated items
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
