Made it really hard this year

The continuous screen shots to upgrade locked up my computer causing me to have to go to task manager to end task.
Couldn't save the data when locked up - causing multiple reentry of data.
I have been a loyal user of Turbo Tax, but if this isn't fixed by next year, will have to try something else. Taxes are time consuming enough and it cost me 6 to 8 hours easily or more.
Please also see comments about having to do manual writeup and submission of conversion from non deductable traditional IRA to Roth every year.
i want to continue to use you guys - but can't do this a year from now.

What's great about it: Still a good basic program to work with if not interrupted with marketing and lock ups that cost time.
What's not so great: Need good way to document conversions of non deductable traditional IRA's to Roth IRA's. Do it manually after Turbo.

Problem between states

Very good program but it has a glitch when processing multiple states. My pension income from my home state keeps getting added to another state where I am temporarily working. No way to take it out.
What's great about it: Very comprehensive entry of information
What's not so great: FIling multiple state returns. Pension income from home state shows up as income in all states and cannot be removed.

I got through it in less than 1 day.
This'll be 9 years filing with TT Deluxe.
What's great about it: Just like last years.
What's not so great: NO LINUX, but there is MAC OSX? MAC OSX=Linux=Unix Distro

In the past my return always started with the previous year's information. Using the same computer with the .pdf and files available, this year's version did not locate previous years filings and update tax information from other years
What's not so great: This year's version did not either locate or capture information from previous version/previous filed return.

TurboTax is the best, especially if you are a user like me an wait until the last minute for filing. You're great at sending reminders but I am the procrastinator of the year in my home. Thanks for being there!
