ok, not as user friendly as earlier editions.
What's great about it: Same as previous yrs
What's not so great: still had to pay for State filing

Very Easy to Prepare Taxes

The entire process was very pleasant. From the installation, updates, data entry, questions, additional assistance and details, to the tax forms and/or the walkthrough. Very good interface and presentation. All information needed was readily available and quick to access.
What's great about it: quick, smooth, no issues, straightforward, no guessing
What's not so great: Free would be nice ;^)

Did taxes in two days

Turbo Tax takes you through every scenario for the average situation. I'm married and kids are out of the house. It was easy and relatively painless. Doing my taxes is no longer this arduous research project.
What's great about it: Easy format. Easy to answer questions but you must be organized.
What's not so great: Don't like the extra charge for direct deposit. It's Deductible Lost all my entries. I had to start form scratch..

Directions easy to follow for seniors. Filed first time with both having SS. Covered CA form easy to use.
What's great about it: Easy for Seniors
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax - The best tool to file your taxes

Turbo Tax has provided me a tool that allows me to understand taxation. I like the almost real time view of the effect of the balance due/refund as you enter information.
What's great about it: Robust, easy to follow and always provides help on every screen
What's not so great: Why do we have to pay a fee to file State tax. You already pay tax then a fee. I should move to a state with no tax.

not as easy

This year, TT wouldn't/couldn't find my previous file-- even though it was in the same folder as them. And, it was much more difficult to use than in previous years. I'll probably use one of your competitor next year. I hear good things about some of them. And I think it's disgusting that I didn't get one free state file.
It's also nearly impossible to get this review accepted
