I've been using Turbo Tax since 1995 and have never been disappointed in the product. It's gotten better every year and this year was no exception. I highly recommend this product for all.

Will look for something different in 12 months

There was no/little support for the adjustments needed for the MN AGI. For the first time ever, I have zero confidence that I did things correctly upon clicking submit. I had to do a tremendous amount of work on my own (via google/youtube) to get the answers that I needed. I pay for the option to enter numbers in a program for my somewhat simple tax situation, and this was not the case for the MN refund. I should have just done it with forms from the library.
Additionally, I had to switch to the online version to the downloaded version in order to make those adjustments. In 2016, I feel like this should be easier.
Lastly, the MN property tax refund is worded incorrectly. You don't need to own a home and an mobile home to qualify despite it doesn't allow you to move on unless you say "all apply"...including owning a mobile home. Again, I'll likely just use the forms from the library.
What's great about it: information transferred easily
What's not so great: Had to move from the online version to downloaded version

I LIKE TURBO TAX OR I WOULDN'T STILL BE USING IT ALL THESE YEARS LATER. BUT IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO GET STARTED, IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO "THINK" ABOUT THINGS. YOU GET UPDATES AT THE START AND STILL NEED TO UPDATE INFORMATION DURING THE RETURN BECAUSE THINGS ARE STILL NOT "READY" BUT THEN THEY ARE READY AT THE END OF THE RETURN. I LIKE THE FACT THAT MOST INFO. TRANSFERS FROM PREVIOUS YEAR AND HOW IT WALKS ME THRU THINGS. JUST GOT DONE SO I AM TIRED AND NOT FEELING FRIENDLY ABOUT HOW LONG IT TOOK ME TO GET THRU THIS.
What's great about it: FAIRLY EASY AND SIMPLE, FEEL CONFIDENT ITS BEING DONE RIGHT
What's not so great: TAKES A LONG TIME TO LOAD (MY COMPUTER IS NOT SLOW). EVERYTHING IS "WAIT", YOU GET UPDATES, THEN NEED MORE UPDATES

Long time user & fan!

I have used TT for many years now. It is very easy to import last years info and start new year return. I never miss a step as it shows or carries previous years info over ..so I feel confident that I haven't missed an entry that I would easily forget about. I haven't tried the many other options out there to compare, but I'm always happy with my return and I don't want the extra work ..maybe next year...
What's great about it: Fast, easy, accurate!
What's not so great: Not sure.
