This is my 10th year of using turbo tax and I wouldn't do it any other way.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Slow at times in loading

What's not so great: Entered 1099 and it keeps saying i own my wn business. I have deleted and started over several time
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This year Turbo Tax did not carry forward the info on the 1099 forms from last year, so I had to re-enter it.
It did not calculate and enter the depreciation on Form E as it did for the past 20 plus years I've used TT. I guess they are forcing us to pay for the more expensive software now!!

Bug in the mix

Could not change the cash income amount in the schedule C forms. What a pain in the posterior and no easy fix found when searching tech support forum.
What's not so great: Difficult to edit Schd C income

Best Tax Return Software

I've been using Turbo Tax for about 20 years and absolutely love it for the following reasons:
-Automatically enters required info from last year's return.
-Will upload W-2 info if your employer's payroll vendor is set-up for this function, ADP is.
-Walks you thru each entry.
-Provides information explaining each entry/question.
-If you have a small business, or unreimbursed employee expenses, and use Quicken for your business, Turbo tax will load the necessary information from Quicken into your tax return or you can manually enter it, the choice is yours.
