Always a joy to use

I like the fact that it asks the questions about the house we own and the cars we own. What I don't like is that when I don't know the answer about a camps EIN number for a children's camp that is tax deductible, it won't give it up....it just keeps asking and asking. There is no way to turn off a question and say---the answer is unavailable. The day camp was totally valid for a deduction, but I didn't know that answer. It should let me just skip the number and go one without the information.
I also wish you could just review some of the information on forms a little faster....I have done paper taxes for years and I am used to scanning through forms quickly...some of the questions that they ask are so slow in comparison to my ability to scanning through a paper form. I like going through the pages quickly and finding what I am looking for fast. I do like the ability to do taxes quickly. Thank you for your help. I just wish the price would not go up so much each year. Two states and one federal....not cheap.
What's great about it: Transfer files from the previous year
What's not so great: Keeps asking the same questions

Taxes made not so bad

Well done. My son used it himself for the first time. HIs comment was that Turbo Tax made figuring and filing taxes not as bad as he anticipated. In fact, it was rather easy.
What's great about it: TurboTax does all of the research. I just have to organize and enter data
What's not so great: It would be helpful if there were a pre-module that helps you know what information to organize, or how to do so.

Sigh of relief

I depend on this software every year to have my back and it let's me know if I've missed anything or if there are any problem areas with my filing. Now my daughter is using it for her first filing. It's stressful for us both, but TurboTax helps us get through it as easy as possible. Thanks TurboTax.
What's great about it: Walks me through it, Helps me understand the tough spots
What's not so great: Sometimes form navigation is confusing

Mostly great and easy. Problems occurred on my part (having to go back and forth for info.) but overall a quick and simple way to get taxes out of the way/

Great Product!

I have been using the TurboTax software to file my taxes for over 10 years and it has always been a great product to use. It is very easy, intuitive and seems to be right on point with our needs.
What's great about it: Very easy to use and follow along to complete my tax return.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

One and Only

TurboTax is the only tax software I have ever used(about 15 years) so I can't compare it with any other, but it has always been very easy to understand . Guess I will use it as long as I'm able to use the computer. I am almost 81 years old..

Good Tax Software

I have a fairly complicated tax return and for the most part it was very good. My only request is for it to be able to read scans of misc 1099 forms to input data. It would also be good if it could recognize the 5498 Roth IRA conversions that were recharacterized automatically. As it is now, it looks like duplicate income until manually adjusted.
What's great about it: Easy import from financial companies
What's not so great: No way to scan 1099 forms
Pros: I bought or sold investments
