Saved My Fanny - as always

Love Turbo Tax - this is my 20-something year of using it. Like the new flag feature a lot. Love that it fills in last year's stuff and that it lets you be reminded of people you donate to in case you forget someone.
What's great about it: Love the walk thru even after all these years
What's not so great: Did not bring my 2015 pin forward so not sure if I screwed it up.

What's great about it: so much carries over from last year. Also ability to download my broker's 1099's.
What's not so great: your handling of K-1's is better than last year, but you have a long long way to go.

Used to do by hand years ago--Turbo Tax has all the answers at your finger tips. Friendly and helpful contacts for help when needed. No question is too small or stupid. Thanks Turbo Tax .

Worth It

Overall a very good product, especially for Federal returns. State caused some confusion. W2 shows payments made for employer sponsored health insurance. I expected it to be pulled into state return as deduction.
Think highly of system and am a repetitive user. Do multiple family members returns using TurboTax

What's great about it: Year to Year Information carried forward, easy to use, prompts for items that might be forgotten
What's not so great: State filing didn't pull a deduction that was on W2

I few stumbles on on new issues, great

I've used Turbo Tax for years. My only issue is that my situation keeps changing, so I have to go through step by step, but that's OK. Also, when you ask whether I have kids, make it clear whether you're talking about minors or dependents. My daughter is 22, but I don't like answering that I don't have kids...she's just not a dependent!
What's great about it: Step by step by step.
What's not so great: didn't have a way to check whether I'd claimed the LTHC credit
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Taxes the easy way!

The flexibility is great as I have used Turbo Tax for a long time now so some parts I know well, but also like the security of being guided for anything new.
I kept wanting to just go back in a topic in the state return, and for some reason I kept hitting the federal tax button instead. Not sure why that is.
What's great about it: I like the flexibility of being guided, but also able to jump to topics easily
What's not so great: I kept jumping back to my federal return from my state return by accident

Better than Taxcut

Programming: when done with a section on income or deductions, it should go to next, not the top of the previous page every time - making you scroll to the bottom before Continuing - every time!
Content: Charged right ahead trying to get me to pay for and complete a Florida State return. There is no FL income tax.
The Link to Add another Area for State Sales Taxes - does not produce another Area, it recycles to the same State.
