What's great about it: step by step with nice auto entries from previous years
What's not so great: none that I have experienced in 8 years

I have been using TurboTax for years. It makes doing my taxes easy. No need for outside help.

error i couldn't correct

i am getting a refund of all of my social security that i already received. i e-fled and had to put how to receive something i know i am not entitled to.
What's great about it: step by step was easy to follow

The home expense and deduction section is somewhat confusing. Making it a bit more understandable would really help. Expand the help button.

What's great about it: Loved that it went through step by step on almost everything.
What's not so great: The state tax return a little more confusing. It could have explained where to find the information such as pay stubs.

Very easy to follow!

I was stressed out as I had waited the day before the tax filing deadline. I had envisioned I would be spending all day stressed out with tax paperwork. I despise taxes, and even though the process took a little over 2 hours (I like to be thorough), it was quite painless. My background: single male, no dependents. Works full time $50k/year.
What's great about it: Intuitive, simple, fast.
What's not so great: None
