First, I used TT for years until I began using 1040A. Switching to a free online service, I discovered it took at least as much effort as TT, and that was without itemizing! I'm back in the fold now, and very pleased with TT again. Although I consider myself a knowledgeable tax preparer, I approach TT as if I were a novice. By letting TT guide me all the way, I can have every confidence that my returns are accurate.
What's great about it: If you let TT ask the questions and guide you, you won't miss a thing.
What's not so great: There are a couple of areas that make you stop and think.

Turbo Tax makes filing my taxes much easier. The instructions are clear, easy to follow. I depend on Turbo Tax to keep up-to-date on the tax laws and they do a good job explaining how to take/what to take for deductions. Thanks, Turbo Tax

Easy to use. Takes up about 4 hours in one sitting. Glitch with form 3554 (had to delete it before e-filing).
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The installation of the software for a Windows 10 system was a concern/pain. Had to wait until a fix was available to install. Once installed had to manually update the program. As a follow up to last year's issues worried about what to expect next year.
What's great about it: Ease of Completion
What's not so great: Software Installation Issues
