confusion

After putting in the school district, at the end of the state process it didn't seem to know which district I had already stated.
Found confusion with the filing pin number.

Started late, but everything done in a few hours

I am a long time user of TurboTax - it has saved many hours of work and resulted in substantial tax savings by prompting me for deductions.
What's great about it: easy guidance, easy to go back to complete information and change previous information
What's not so great: some of the auto import functions don't work easily
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Love TurboTax

I've tried many of the online tax programs and the downloadable programs. I always return to TurboTax and will continue to use it. It's user friendly, thorough and detailed in the information it provides and very helpful when I have a question. #1.
What's great about it: Quick, thorough, detailed

I've used Turbo Tax for 17 years. Never a problem and if you use the 'help' entry, it fully explains the process. Never easier.

love the interface. ability to save file as I go AND save to PDF (multiple revisions as complete my return) for comparison purposes.
What's great about it: carries previous year's return forward AND the interface gets simpler each year
What's not so great: can't search for words within a form; i.e. 'alimony' what form is it on
