Turbo Tax Max Tax Season A Breeze

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. Being able to jump from year to year and not having to input everyone's personal information saves a ton of time. The prompts are easy to follow. The explanations make sense. This year I had an error from an employer on an income statement and Turbo Tax walked me through how to correct the issue.
What's great about it: Step by Step Process, Easy to follow prompts, Flags to keep track of where you are, great help desk!
What's not so great: I don't have any.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

There were two major obstacles I had, one was how to include the second W-2 I had with City of Detroit taxes and the other on the above mentioned 1099-MISC form. I tried looking up the answers in the help locations but didn't find anything helpful although - I may not have worded the requests in a way that the answer would appear. Regardless, I called and got help from Gary. Thanks.
What's great about it: Was confused on a 1099-MISC point but called in and Gary sorted it out for me.
What's not so great: That I couldn't find some of the answers myself.

Pretty good.

pretty good software which I will use again. however, a lot of reading and clarifying required to understand what is being asked and how it relates to my situation. With added fees for electronic filing, using credit cards, etc, it may be less expensive to use a professional next time.
What's great about it: straight-forward, user friendly, accurate
What's not so great: "help" is not very helpful, format doesn't always match info provided on forms
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easy and Fast

Have used Turbo Tax now for over ten years. It is very easy to negotiate, explains everything in simple terms, and files your taxes flawlessly. I will continue to use Turbo Tax as long as it is available.
What's great about it: Very easy to negotiate

I've used Turbo tax for over 20 years. First with my husband's business. Then he retired and I used primarily for my own job. I like how it always pulls all the information together and even reminds you of the donations you made the year before.

Great For Taxes with no issues

The program works great for normal tax situations. Step by step with ease. My wife got a 1099-C that complicated taxes greatly. Turbo Tax would have left me on the hook for a 10,000 tax bill when I should have got 2000 back. Please seek extra help if you get a 1099-C. The internet is loaded full of useful information. Turbo Tax still works, but its tricky. Good luck.
What's great about it: Very Helpful for most Tax situations
What's not so great: Got a 1099-C, You will Need Extra Help for that 982

frustrating!

used it last year with no problems; same computer and this year, the program froze so many times; I had to log out of the program and log back in only to reenter information
