It appears to be complete and thorough. I had confidence that I was getting everything entered. Relatively easy to use, but it is really best to have all the information in front of you before you begin. Going back to add stuff you forgot is much more difficult. Odd job income was difficult to enter as it passed over that and I had to go find where I should enter it myself. Oddly, it did not bring everything over from last year's TurboTax and I had to start entering standard information like I had never used TurboTax. That troubled me, but later I could see that it was comparing 2014 with 2015 so I guess it was.
What's great about it: Cheap, reliable, easy to use
What's not so great: Sometime difficult to go back and check that something was entered correctly without having to start over that section.

Hassle-free TurboTax Deluxe

TurboTax Deluxe is a hassle-free software package that will satisfy the needs of most individuals. I don't have complex investments, and TurboTax handled the capital gains calculations flawlessly. In addition to figuring the taxes I owed (unfortunately, I had to pay this year), TurboTax also printed the necessary vouchers for Estimated Payments. e-Filing was a snap, and secure, too. This s my eighth year using TurboTax, and it won't be my last.
What's great about it: Overall data entry, Cap Gains calcs, Estimated Payments, e-Filing capability
What's not so great: A couple fields were labeled differently than on the Fed forms

Detailed and systematic

I have been using TurboTax since the late 1990's and have always been satisfied. Once again I am satisfied, although my tax return (90% complete, with over one week invested) disappeared, and I had to start over from scratch. It is now 4:30 AM and I have just transmitted my returns.
I will continue to use TurboTax, however I hope this problem will be investigated. I noticed that others have experienced the same problem and could find no suggestions to remedy my problem.
What's great about it: Clear instruction
What's not so great: My tax return disappeared when approsimately 90 per cent complete.

I've been using Turbo Tax for about 20 years. It works great, is very thorough and detailed. I intend to use it for years to come.

Very good product

TT Deluxe worked well with stock trade investments and K-1 forms but it takes a bit of work to get to the right place. It does not handle sales of K-1 positions correctly, you must do those on the 1099-B section not the K-1 section to avoid duplication. TT too quickly assumes a 1099-Misc is business income not investment income. So if you mistakenly go down the wrong path (business income vs. other income) on a 1099-Misc you get stuck in an input business name loop and must delete the extra forms and worksheets created to clear errors. Otherwise, it's the best product in the business.
What's great about it: explained things along the way, easy to navigate
What's not so great: just does not handle EFT/MLP/ETN K-1 sales well
