My TurboTax Experience 2015

I attempted a more complex area of tax calculation and found in the end I did not have all of the information needed. This is not a criticism of TurboTax but in some situations one would need a tax advisor, i.e. someone that your could talk to you and walk you through your problem or situation.
Once past my personal situation the TurboTax process all the way to e-filing was excellent. I owed money to the Feds; that is no fun but I still was able to e-file with ease.
What's great about it: Easy to follow the step by step process
What's not so great: Some areas can get complicated especially if you cannot follow along on what the big picture is.

Another great Turbo Tax year

This tool continues to get better. We have a lot of faith in this product and each year it seems to come through.

What's great about it: very fast and easy once you have past returns on file
What's not so great: just getting started if you havent used it before and need to put all information in.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. Every year it has gotten easier. I always use the option of Turbo Tax leading me through step by step. That way you don't miss anything.
What's great about it: All you need is the data
What's not so great: I don't have any cons

AFTER TRYING MULTIPLE TIMES TO ENTER STATE SALES TAX FOR A USED TRUCK PURCHASE I FINALLY GAVE UP. OTHER THAN THAT BLIP THINGS WENT PRETTY SMOOTHLY.
What's great about it: OVERALL PRODUCT WAS GOOD! EASY TO USE.
What's not so great: ADDING STATE SALES TAX FOR USED TRUCK - DIFFICULT.

Easy and Intuitive

I am well educated and experienced in preparing my own taxes, but TurboTax is easy, efficient, and convenient to use, just make sure to collect your tax info throughout the year.
I don't like that it doesn't tell you that there is a fee for efiling your State return until after you fill out all the information, then makes it difficult to go back and change your choice. This was the same situation as last year
What's great about it: Very thorough and easy to step through
What's not so great: Unpleasant efiling Fee for the State Return

Hawaii State tax question

Must be a way to find out if a 401 k is excluded from Hawaii State Tax or not I do not know and if you look the info online its complicated and ambiguous. Turbo Tax should know and tell us if something is excluded or not taxable like my 401k
