Great Program

Overall a n excellent application and user interface
What's great about it: Easy, Complete Simple Fill in the Blanks
What's not so great: Could use a bit more previous years work sheets. eg Amounts of charities
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Better Than Ever

I have been using this product to do my taxes every since it was MacInTax. It continues to get better and better.
What's great about it: Easy and understandable interview process
What's not so great: Had a little trouble deleting a phantom "state return"

Very lacking for retired clergy

I have used TT for many years, but thinking about not using it again. As a retired minister the rmd from my 403b is designated as housing allowance, but TT won't allow it. Also, I had to do a lot of work on investments that TT didn't seem to know how to handle. Printing my returns and mailing. Bummer!
What's great about it: Import features are nice.
What's not so great: Does not enter rmd from 403b correctly as housing allowance and will not permit efile with override.

Best Software for Me!

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 5 years. It has been the easiest to use and no excessive ads to buy more upgrades

I like the menu help when some items need explanation

Accurate and User Friendly

I recently used a tax preparation company for two years in a row, and found that they made major mistakes in both year's filings. I have never had this problem with TurboTax, and it continues to get easier to use.
What's great about it: Quick and easy...detailed explainations help clarify when questions arise.
What's not so great: None to speak of.

About as Painless as You Can Get

Like 99% of the population, I hate doing my taxes. Using TurboTax makes it about as palatable is it's going to get. I like being walked through step-by-step so nothing gets lost in the cracks of my chaotic filing system. The process also makes me aware of items I may not have considered as possible deductions. I have used TurboTax for decades, and will continue to do so for as long as I can remember how to turn on my computer and where I put all my paperwork.
What's great about it: Clear instructions, thorough series of questions
