Great product -- started great, just keeps getting better. A more than reasonable value!!
What's great about it: easy, intuitive, accurate
What's not so great: is there a built in calculator I don't find? not easy to bring up prior year return on that year's forms, if indeed you

Clear and helpful

The deduction tools that allow me to maintain a running log of donations throughout the year are great!
On the other hand a number of questions I had required a great deal of research. When I finally got the answer I thought that it could have been put in the quick question answer data base.
What's great about it: Many tools to help stay organized all year.
What's not so great: Some questions require a great deal of research

taxes made easy

As a continuing user, the most gratifying aspect is the continuing quality and improvement. Help and support are excellent. Even with the year to year changes in our situation, Turbo Tax works through the changes and makes the process easy. My adult daughters are not sold and use Turbo Tax for their returns as well

room for improvemnet

I like the way the interview starts out but there is a loss of flow when it comes to the end of each section...It doesn't carry on with the questions, after the section summary... You are left to figure a lot out for yourself.
I have used other tax programs and the interview process fairly went down the 1040 form you were asking it to interview you for. Furthermore it fails when it gives good tax tips because it should at least have links for videos, or better yet just as I have seen in the past they gave you tax tips on video and made it appreciate the human concept...

Last point that fails is the ability to get a chat session initiated from the section you are negotiating thru... I got the site but there wasn't a good faq! Pain in the butt!
I have tried to spell this out so it is most logical and pragmatic, for future developments...If it works don't fix it, but when it's broke, sometimes it's easier to completely just rebuild the whole dam thing, than to pick apart one little piece at a time. I suggest you scrap this and keep about a 1/3 of it and get it redeveloped so the flow makes it easy for me!
What's great about it: gets the interview questions must better than taxact or tacut

Essential Tax Tool

Although I am very thankful for the Turbo Tax expertise, the Deluxe version seemed a bit light on features than I remember from past filings. Perhaps my situation is more complex this year but IMO, it seems like the product has been split into too many different versions. Next year Home and Business may be the best option.
Turbo Tax still is the top dog in this industry...couldn't do it without your help.

Doing taxes for a WIDOW of a fire fighter, the question on the 1099R for her widow's pension is confusing to answer.
Were YOU Employed as a Public Safety Officer?

Been a TurboTax users since early 1990's. Product keeps getting better and easier to use as my finances have gotten more complex...
What's great about it: Straight forward, good experience (considering it's taxes...)
