So Easy!

Filing taxes can be intimidating. I have used Turbo Tax for several years and it gets easier each year that I use it. When I get confused and answer a question wrong, it lets me go back and correct my mistake and get going in the right direction again.
What's great about it: The program leads you through the process step by step.
What's not so great: Getting all the information together to file!!!!

IT'S DEDUCTIBLE...Too Bad It Doesn't Work!

Again, it's all too obvious that Intuit is a PC-driven company and us Mac users just have to take what Intuit gives us. TurboTax works fine, and the "feeder" app "It's Deductible" is OK on my iPhone. But the phone entries are supposed to be available on the internet so I can download my deductions into TurboTax. Good idea, BUT IT DOESN'T WORK.
What's great about it: TT is easy to use, particularly by long-time users like me
What's not so great: TurboTax and It's Deductible Are Supposed to Synch...THEY DON'T!

Efficient and Helpful

We've been using TurboTax for years and we have complete confidence in it. Make the daunting task of preparing our taxes less intimidating. We love it! Worth every penny!
What's great about it: It walks you through each step and as long as you have your paperwork ready, it's very easy to understand.
What's not so great: Some of the errors need more helpful hints to help user understand why

I have used Turbotax for many years and am very satisfied with it. It's easy to use and functions well.
Am not too happy with the fact one state return is no longer included in the base software.
I typically buy the CD with the software, in which case the actual turbotax file is saved on my harddrive. Last year, however, I purchased the software directly online from Intuit, in which case the software is run over their server and no tax file is saved on my laptop.
When I used a CD again this year turbotax could not import last year's return and I had nothing on my harddrive to browse to.

Some instructions are unclear; overall a good product that I have used for a decade.
What's great about it: Simpler than doing it manually
What's not so great: State filing is too expensive.

Turbo is the way to go

I have used Turbo Tax for 3 years and will not go to a fee-based professional again. I know nothing about taxes or laws but the Turbo Tax helps you learn and walks you through without fear.
What's great about it: The ease of use
What's not so great: End result of owing rather than receiving refund
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
