I uesd Turbo Tax because I retired and had numerous unusual source of income. I handled all of them well.
My only issue is that we were filing joint instead of separate and I was assessed an underpayment penalty that I was able to remove once I entered last years AGI. TurboTax should have automatically prompted me for it and I would have payed it except that I knew the rules.
What's great about it: Easy and fast
What's not so great: Did not ask for last years AGI to remove underpayment penalty
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

One again, Turbo Tax to the rescue!

Turbo Tax continues to provide an easy, step-by-step product for preparing and submitting taxes. Thank you for alleviating the agony of an otherwise arduous task.
What's great about it: Easy, step-by-step instructions
What's not so great: Space for State/Local ID on federal carryover worksheet only allows for 4 characters, mine is 11 numbers long!

It's Deductible did not list enough items to cover all of the things I donated. We downsized from a 3200 square foot home with 30x33 square foot garage to 1900 square foot home with a carport and a 12x14 storage/workshop. Needless to say we had to get rid of a lot of stuff and I felt It's Deductible did not adequately cove enough items. What it did cover was good, but it needs more items.
What's great about it: It handled all of my deduction with ease
What's not so great: It's Deductabe seems like it has less items to chose from for deductions

Super Fast Results!

I use TurboTax every year and it systematically goes through all possible deductions and explains all situations for me in terms that I can understand. It's a simple and pain-free way to file my taxes and I appreciate having such a program available to me.
What's great about it: I like how detailed TurboTax is, how it goes through everything step-by-step.
What's not so great: Wish I didn't have to look up state sales tax rates on my own. It would be nice if you could automatically look that up.

Quick and Efficient

This is my third or fourth year of using TurboTax and I appreciate time saving and efficient it offers.
What's great about it: Easy directions; comprehensive coverage of information required by authorities; time efficiency
What's not so great: a little out of pocket expense
