When doing corrections it went straight to lines I had not seen and did not understand. It was telling me I had to do something that was not on my w-2 that I did not fill out. If it was a mistake it was not mine but to get it to go on I had to erase a zero that was on my w-2
What's great about it: didn't take long
What's not so great: some instructions I did not understand

So Easy!

TurboTax is the easiest way to file your taxes! It is extremely helpful, makes you aware of every possible deduction so that you can get the largest refund possible. And, it checks everything for you so you're assured that your filing does not contain any errors. And, they offer services in the event that you are audited. Exceptional product!
What's great about it: Simple instructions, helps you every step of the way, checks for errors
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Only Software to Use

Have used TT for 10+ years. Tried brand X one year and found it to be more cumbersome. Went back to TT.
What's great about it: Easy to use and fast
What's not so great: none found so far

Turbo Tax 2015

Turbo Tax is a great product for filing taxes. I've used the software for several years with great confidence. My filing situation is simple and the product handles it easily.
My only complaint is that I have to purchase a new copy each year.
Why cant INTUIT offer yearly updates instead?

Over The Top

I've never done my own taxes before. Man did it take me step by step, thru stuff I didn't even know was on my taxes. This program showed me what all I need to save for next year to get an even better return. LOVE IT !!!!
What's great about it: They leave nothing out ( at all !!! )
What's not so great: Takes you a little longer than some people may like

Experience Admirable- Great Tutorial

I have been using TurboTax for 9years and it has been for the most part straight forward and convent to follow.
This year I ran into a problem that the IRS would not and could not accept my E-fole and as a result I had to use snail mail. The IRS explanation was that last year I did not E-file. Their system seems to have a glitch in it that I could not reestablish the credentials to E-file.
The other thing I found that when I entered non-cash charitable contributions and using the valuation tables, the print out on form 8283 the category I selected was for furniture and home decor and the print out designated it as clothing and accessories and household goods.
Navigation back and forth can be a little awkward at times when moving between FED, State and their corresponding forms.
What's great about it: I liked the ease of use / walking through the process.
What's not so great: Moving between forms and input is not well instructed

Mired in confusion

a mere mistake - 30 instead of .30 almost drove me nuts. Why would a 1099 showing .79 interest withhold 30.00 in taxes. ....
