Easy, Fast & Maxed my Refund!

TurboTax is the best way to file! It's easy to use, provided answers to all of my questions, double-checked the information I entered, and got the maximum refund for me! I am so happy I began using TurboTax! There's nothing better!

Did not transfer data from prior year and prior years' returns. Very cumbersome to re-input. Did complete a download to connect the prior year's return but only limited information came over.
No enough interactive analysis to understand implications and not enough transparency of return impact with data input without going all through the menu options. Not well linked to be interactive with the data.

Love it! I have used for the last few years and so easy to use. Always up on the changes from IRS.
What's great about it: Walks me through everything - if i am not sure of something it has pop up help. Awesome program. I will use again!

You make it easier every year and when I finish I am always confident my taxes have been filled correctly and accurately. I have grown to totally rely on TurboTax as the expert in all things income tax. Keep up the good work Intuit!

Peace of Mind

TurboTax makes preparing taxes a lot easier. It's still a chore, and I still hate to do it, but with TurboTax I have peace of mind that I am not missing important info or steps.
What's great about it: Step by step guidance with checks for errors
What's not so great: I can't think of anything that needs improvement

A big help but care must be taken

I have used TurboTax for years and would recommend it but offer the caution that you can't use it blindly. Because you don't normally see the actual forms the data is being entered into there are times when the program will not work to your advantage. Specific example is if you contribute to 529 education savings plans, the default approach can cause you to pay tax on distributions. You can correct the problem but the solution is not obvious and could cost you hundreds if you don't recognize the problem.
What's great about it: Like importing and comparing to prior year information
What's not so great: So much is done in the background that you really need to check to make sure TurboTaxe is in fact maximizing your return
