Turbo Tax recommendation

We've been using Turbo Tax for years and really appreciate the ease of use. We do some simulations that help us determine how much we need to put into an IRA to make sure we don't pay any additional tax in April.
The only problem was entering my daughters taxes with her newborn as a dependent; It didn't automatically say she was eligible for alternative minimum tax and that could have resulted in about $1000 less refund, but we knew otherwise.
What's great about it: Been using it for years. Makes filing simple.
What's not so great: Didn't automatically calculate my daughter for alt min tax

T.Tax is too expensive

Will probably do my taxes manually next year to avid these unreasonable fees.

Product improved this year in most all areas. Design (lay out) of items is well done and communicates a lot and speeds comprehension.
What's great about it: clear item options and simple, well designed instructions
What's not so great: Folksy small talk is distracting; I am not a child. Saying you are saving me money means nothing to me.

User Friendly and Informoring

Great product--been using it for years! Have gotten many of my friends to use Turbo Tax and they love it.
What's great about it: Explanation of each area with help menus -- always learn more about taxes each year.
