not good enough handling annuities

At FED level had trouble in getting Trubotax to correclty handle contract annuity. The software kept treating it as a retirement/IRA annuity.
At MA state level, TurboTax didn't help if resolving pre tax vs taxed IRA contributions. Definitions were meaningloss
What's great about it: can get to the detail of the form if problem
What's not so great: Not good at state investments

My family and myself have been faithful users for 16 years. We have even influenced others to use this software. I was a little disappointed in the speed which it loads this year. Keep up with the great software.
What's great about it: Very easy to Use
What's not so great: Slower this year

Good solid product

It a solid and painless way to process your taxes. This is the fourth year in a row I've used the product.
What's great about it: Data import features
What's not so great: On updates same closing questions asked. It would be nice if an "any changes" question was the first one.

Always done right

It is not true that you can earn whatever you want after you reach full retirement age. You cannot. Most of my social security income was taxed. This is disturbing. It's not your fault, but there should be a time (I'm 68 and still working) when you can kick back and actually have all the money you earn. It's not like I'm rich. It's also not that it's your fault. I just had to rant.
Thanks once again for helping me get through tax day.
P S: You need to expand the "family" choices below. I'm a widow and have five grown kids and eight grandchildren. My kids will always be my kids, but they're not deductible or living with me anymore.

Reliability Year In and Year Out

We have a pretty straightforward deduction profile. What the Turbo Tax step-by-step doesn't answer up front is easily accessible via the online HELP option. Regardless of how awkwardly a question is posed, the right answer always seems to pop up. This year that proved a great assist when our son filed his own taxes before we did when it better benefited US to claim him and hand a few bucks over his way. We learned that we must file by mail instead of online to be processed while our son amends his return to reverse his dependent selection. A HUGE relief to instantly know the situation could be worked out WITHOUT a long call to the IRS. Bravo!
What's great about it: Especially appreciate the import of previous year's info to new tax year program
What's not so great: Maybe just a reminder that once you start your taxes & save the work, access the saved file and not the icon.
