I have used this program for over 10 years and have never had a problem until this year. the tax return does not print out correctly there were gaps in what printed out and this caused the return to be sent missing vital information.
What's not so great: there were pages of the tax return that printed without necessary informtions

Turbo tax is thorough, but as mentioned in my cons - it doesn't meet the niche of a retired pastor using his pension for a housing allowance.
What's not so great: Wasn't able to access line 16 of the 1040 to report pension as housing allowance

Great Experience (for tax preparation)

Overall, a seamless experience. Nobody likes to do their taxes, but with TurboTax, anyone can do it themselves!
What's great about it: Instructions clear and specific, streamlined process
What's not so great: A few categories of expenses missing -- like postage & office supplies -- but not significant amount of $$
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great Product

I have been using TT for nigh on 30 years and I highly recommend it. I am sure I could probably get a little more refund by going to a "paid" tax preparer but the last time I did that I was audited all three years I used the "CPA Professional". I have never been audited using TT and that makes it worth it too me.
What's great about it: Easy and quick
What's not so great: None, so far!

Costs too Much

I had to pay for the software, then pay for each of two state software downloads. I would have had to then pay for each state to efile.
I mailed in the state returns, if I had paid to efile the state returns, I would have paid twice as much as I paid last year for the online version. Last time I download the software.
What's great about it: Figured out my taxes like usual
What's not so great: Too much cost, cheaper for online version
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
