Easy, Peasy!!

I like how it brings last year's info forward and how it gives warnings about future year considerations.
I've used Turbo Tax for many years and it never disappoints with how easy it is to answer the questions on a guided tour of your return, if you don't want to decide which forms to use.
What's great about it: Quick and Easy
What's not so great: State eFile should be free also

Good experience

Turbo Tax is a nice program which could really help with filing your taxes. Definitely not so easy to use it for the first time. Especially if you have some business expenses, use your own car and equipment for a business, etc. But after you complete the first tax return it will be much easier to use this program for the second time. By involving yourself in the tax return preparation process you also will learn more about taxes which, in its turn, could help to understand how to minimize those taxes. In addition, I tried once to ask certified tax professional to verify my return before I would file it. He has several decades of tax preparation experience, but wasn't able to find any errors or give me any serious advises on how to increase my return. He told me that everything has been prepared correctly. So, if you are not scared to spend some time preparing your taxes and willing to learn some new stuff this program is definitely for you.
What's great about it: Easy to use, nicely guides through the process
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to understand accountant language

I've used Turbo tax for over 20 years. It's inexpensive and easy to use.
What's great about it: Easy to use self guided tool
What's not so great: Not able to retreive data from Turbo Tax on-line

Turbo tax is easy and simple. It finds all of the areas you can increase your return and walks you through step by step. simple layout and design. Great Stuff!
What's great about it: step by step explanation and analysis. Easy flow and layout. resources to gain more understanding if confused ever.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

didnt think there was a difference between desktop and online... then you want to charge me to download 2014 because it was online and this year I happened to buy desktop not realizing this.. rediculous.

First Time User, impressed

First time user, was recommended by my sister. I have many forms that I get due to my school and other things, but this made it easy to input those forms, stuff that paid tax repairer would either decline to do or up-charge for. I was impressed with the software and look forward in using it next year as well, saved me time and money and headaches of going thru a repairer.
What's great about it: easy step by step instructions and question
What's not so great: would be nice to have all the explanation available on the actual software window, not browser links

Penalty and Interest show up suddenly during last

As a retiree, I am having a hard time understanding why we are paying a seven dollar penalty with no explanation for what. My wife claims no dependents at her job so max federal tax is taken out of her pay check. I did cash one of our 401's which 20% was taken out for federal taxes. According to the plan administrator it was the percentage that was required. All of my returns have disappeared from 2014 back out of my Turbo Tax account. Lucky I kept copies
