Easier than I thought

After paying lots over the years for tax preparation, I finally tried Turbo Tax. It was a very good experience. The help section was very useful, and it walked me through everything step by step.
What's great about it: Walks you through it step by step
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: REally good guiding through the process and remembering to hit all potential deductions.
What's not so great: Fnal directions on either using IRS pins or previous year AGI was not clear.

A 10-year plus Turbo Tax fan

As a Turbo Tax customer for more than ten years, I have not considered seriously any alternative to this user-friendly software. I have always prepared my own taxes, but the nonsense of finding the right paper forms, making another trip to get the form or forms missed, ruining the last copy in hand, etc. have made getting good software the only practical option.
When failure to remove prior years of software caused a conflict, tech. support was able to diagnose and help me resolve the problem. Congratulations for consistently producing an excellent product.

What's great about it: tremendous flexibility in data entry
What's not so great: 'still cannot download 1099s in 1041 prep.

Saves me a lot of manual work

I have been using for over 5 years, I like the way it covers all the income , deductions and credit . I like the way it recovers information from previous years. I like the error and audit risk check feature.
What's great about it: covers all income, deductions and credits
What's not so great: adds to buy more service

Easy to Use and Reliable Software

I've been using Turbo Tax to file my taxes for at least 20 years and it's helped me understand how to keep my files organized and allows me to file effortlessly, year-after-year. I like the fact it is always up to date on new tax laws and filing requirements. I also like TurboTax's feature of carrying forward certain tax information for next year's return so I don't have to re-key it. My taxes are a bit complicated and there is just no way I could do it by myself. Thank you TurboTax!
What's great about it: Offers very good explanations for itemized deductions
What's not so great: None
