Easy filing

E file is the best invention!
What's great about it: Instructions easy to follow

TT Deluxe is fine for investments

If you have investments with dividends, interests and sale of mutual funds or stocks, you do not need the TT Premier. You can use TT Deluxe instead. The question/interview format is easy and you can go directly to a section if you like. They also have a handy Help button that can explain more or link you to online resources. I also liked the year to year comparisons if you used TT the previous year.
AMT was a surprise. I never owed it before. It would helpful to have more of an explanation and strategy on how to reduce AMT in the future.
I have been a TT user for years and overall I like the product.
What's great about it: question format, help buttons, review from prev years
What's not so great: AMT could be a little more helpful
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Great refund

I always use Turbo Tax because I can depend on it to be accurate. All I have to do is answer the questions, previous year return is already included in the outcome. Even those not good in math can do it as long as you can read. I highly recommend Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: All I had to do was answer questions. All math and numbers is taken care of.
What's not so great: Some questions are difficult to answer.

Relax and use Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo tax for several years and always feel safe and confident using it. I believe it is a major help for people like me that are not the smartest people in the world. It guides you right along from start to finish. I APPRECIATE HAVING IT TO USE.
What's great about it: It checks for all the mistakes I often miss and helps me correct them
What's not so great: I had trouble printing out forms but part of the problem is learning to use my new wireless computer

What's great about it: Turbotax 2015 seemed simmpler to file. Better ID protection

For some reason, system did not provide me with choice of applying a portion of my Federal refund to 2016 tax estimate.
Hawaii form N-342 triggered an election question for line 42, to choose either "a" or "b". I incorrectly choose "a" and the system would not allow me to make the correction.
Fortunately, this was a onetime election and once made it is permanent. I had made the election a few years ago as this was a carry forward credit this year. Fortunately the system was smart enough to recognize this and recorded it properly.
What's great about it: Very thorough and generally user friendly.
What's not so great: Other than for normal data input, system does not allow you to make corrections/edits.
