This is my 6th or 7th year using Turbo Tax, it is a great program; this is the first year that I was able to complete my Federal and State taxes on February 1st.

Gets Better and Better

Program has been more intuitive and easier to use every year I have tried it. In addition, "It's Deductible" has become more comprehensive and easier to search for values of non-cash donations.
Only gripe I have this year is that I have learned that TurboTax will no longer allow me to use Windows XP after 2015.
What's great about it: Easier every year I have used it
What's not so great: Won't support Windows XP after 2015 TY
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great Program

I have used TurboTax for years, it is accurate, educational for thinking of additional tax saving options, and quick. My family has embrassed the program and continues to use it yearly.
What's great about it: Simple & Quick
What's not so great: ZERO

I HAVE BEEN USING TURBOTAX FOR YEARS. I VENTURED TO HR BLOCK'S SOFTWARE ONCE OR TWICE AND HATED IT. TURBOTAX OR GO HOME!

just resent the return

After I filed the returns, I got emails indicating that my filings are rejected for the error. After I read the instruction to amend and resent them, I followed the instruction to fix the error, which did not work as it is indicated. I needed to redo the whole thing all over again. I just sent them but I am not sure whether they are accepted or not yet.
What's great about it: quick and easy
What's not so great: when you have issues, it is not so easy to figure out how to fix it.

Very Helpful for Taxes

For years I went to a tax preparer with my paperwork. Then I realized that I could answer the same questions from my computer with the Turbo Tax program and save LOTS of money for tax preparation.
There was one problem: both spouse and I have separate savings accounts on CDs from the same institution. First I entered my interest in my name; then my spouses. The program did not add them together. Spouse's interest knocked out mine. So I added our two separate interests and put it in the block. Strange.

What's great about it: Walks you through all the scenarios
What's not so great: Problem with a bank interest 1099-INT for the both of us

I will use it again. This is my third time using TurboTax. Just make sure you keep it secure.
