Not as easy as I thought it would be...

Help boxes were not helpful to me. I have used TT since first introduced, I believe; however, it seems to get harder as the years go by.
I needed to complete the physical form in order to understand what TT was asking me to input.
What's great about it: Helps with all calculations
What's not so great: Had difficulty inputting energy tax credit for state return

Simple and Quick

I am single with no kids, and I am not a homeowner, so my taxes are simple to do. However, even though my taxes are simple, using TurboTax really made the whole filing process effortless this year.

What's great about it: Easy and quick to use!
What's not so great: No complaints.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax makes it easy

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and it has always made the complex task of tax filing easy. The laws change but Turbo Tax knows the changes. Nice tool.
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions, gets some info directly from financial institutions. Confident I did it correctly.
What's not so great: Works great. No "cons".

'Ol Faithful

I rely on turbotax. This year has been extremely hectic and I was able to do my taxes in two sittings. I especially like how the program has a colorful map for you to follow. The program is very intuitive and easy to use. My only complaint is that when you want to efile your federal taxes and mail in your state taxes, you have to do two different steps. I would prefer if there was a radio button for each file. Federal: efile or mail; state: efile or mail. Otherwise turbotax is a mainstay in my household.
What's great about it: Fast, easy, thorough
What's not so great: limited print option
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I had a baby

Everything was great, but...

After entering a bunch of vehicle information in the Q&A, I had to re-enter them during the check.

What's great about it: Easy to enter data - as always. Similar interface as previous years.
What's not so great: Information entered on vehicle expenses did not make it to forms.

Still nerve wracking

Have used TurboTax for several decades. I like the easy step guiding me through taxes, but if you go back to add something, when you return to your work by moving through the pages to the point where you were, you have to re-enter everything you have already entered. And there are still forms, such as Schedule C, that don't seem to get all their entries via easy step. And if you have more than one Schedule C, it is much less confusing to go to Forms and work through the schedule rather than use easy step.
What's great about it: Everything is covered
What's not so great: Have to go to forms and return to easy can negate entries
Pros: I bought or sold investments
