What's not so great: Two problems: 1. Down loading the update every time, I shutdown Turbotax. 2. had trouble scrolling down the worksheet

I've used TurboTax for the past few years and find it simple to use and accurate. No one enjoys preparing taxes, but they make the process about as painless as possible. I strongly recommend TurboTax.
What's great about it: The process is easy and you can't mess it up.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I remember the days when everything needed to be done "long hand". Turbo Tax helps even "ordinary people" find their way through the maze of tax forms and preparation.
What's great about it: I remember the days when everything needed to be done "long hand" Turbo Tax helps "ordinary people" with their tax prep
What's not so great: Some instructions are rather obscure.

Overall, quite good

Overall, quite good. I like the way TurboTax allows one to systematically answer questions to cover all of the relevant tax issues. The only issues that I ran across:
1. I almost missed the AZ tax credits, because they were just included in a list of other items. If I hadn't remembered them and looked at the questions to figure out where they were, I would have missed $400 in tax credits. They should either be separately listed, or more attention called to them somehow, because they make a significant difference in tax liability.
2. The program was not helpful in trying to figure out what to do for AZ tax purposes with the K-1 form involving my dad's estate. I had to look at my brother's return to figure out how to handle it, and I am still not absolutely sure that I got it right. Although this is an unusual situation, because it is unusual there should be detailed instructions as to how to handle this.
What's great about it: Did a good job of systematically walking through issues related to properly filing the return.
What's not so great: A couple of minor drawbacks (see comments below).

First time for me using Turbo Tax. Thank you for making it simple to use. Some background: my dear wife was the one doing our taxes with Turbo Tax. She passed away last year, and I had to take on the job, trying to keep up her good work. I ran into difficulties because I could not go in and edit redundant information (Schedule C was not applicable this year). I finally fixed it by starting over and installing Turbo Tax again. I'm not a computer geek, but this was do-able for me, so long as I stuck with it and put in the time. I'm sure it will be much more streamlined for me the next time.
What's great about it: simple to use
What's not so great: could not edit

For the tentative DIY Tax Submitter

I am back at it with TurboTax in 2015 even though I had a protracted delay with last year's return due to a mistaken entry of an incorrect code in one of the 12 box fields (not sure how it occurred) and TurboTax of course saw a valid code, just not one applicable to my Taxes. So, No electronic return and an IRS letter requesting more information on the additional form generated from the incorrect field code entry. I was ultimately sent too much of a return and had to turn right around and send back approximately one third of the return. After all of that 2014 Taxes just worked out this January. Now I just finished 2015 Taxes with a return which is a surprisingly increase compared to last year. I am full of hope, It is going to be a very good year! Go TurboTax!!
What's great about it: Just as easy as I have always remembered it to be......
What's not so great: 2014 Taxes delayed return by incorrect code entered in TT
