covered deductions

it does not cover having foreign house hold employees working in second home in foreign country.
ex: in Vietnam house keepers caring for us citizens home in Vietnam. citizens entire income made in America not working for foreign companies. just pays salary to foreign citizens living and working in foreign country in us citizen's foreign home for us citizen.
What's great about it: walks through ok
What's not so great: does not cover having foriegn house hold employees

Each state was extra.
Ok, not too bad, i moved from ILL to CA following a divorce with two kids in college as I went from Grad student to unemployed to working. Enough going on? And sold a house and moved to apartment. bought and sold a car.
Sold stocks. in two states. All in all not too bad if I had been organized

Awesome product

Have used this product for 15+ years and have never had any regret. Will continue to use as long as I am capable. I found the download version with forms to be more comprehensive than on-line version.
What's great about it: Easy to use, imports last year data, consistent design
What's not so great: Variations in on-line vs download

Great value and easy to use.

Turbo tax is easy to use and great for the cost. I will continue to use it in the future.
My only 2 issues are that when going back to review or update a section you have to re-answer a lot of other related questions you already completed again. Also, at the end of the process, there seem to be a lot of redundant screens and a few too many sales pitches for add-on items.
Bottom line... buy and use Turbo Tax, but go through it carefully and read everything.
What's great about it: Easy to use and thorough.
What's not so great: Redundant navigation and add-on products at completion.

if youve ever wondered how you could file your tax returns and save money, Turbo Tax is for you... this is my sixth year using it, and it saves a tremendous amount of time and frustration...
What's great about it: quick and convenient, very well thought out
