No refund, but made it less painful

What's great about it: All the information needed
What's not so great: None

I've used Turbo Tax for several years and I've been satisfied. The software seems to get better and more intuitive each year. There are some things I stumble on each year that are not clear but that's necessarily Turbo Tax's fault. Quick and somewhat painless, even with all of the additional forms I need.
What's great about it: Very thorough, intuitive and helpful
What's not so great: At times a little confusion with questions/details

Vastly Improved for 2015

I used TurboTax software for many years in the past and completed my tax returns effortlessly, even with the incredibly difficult return I had to file being a foreign based landlord in the past. As your dependents get older and your ability to claim them evaporates, I wish their would have been a warning by the software to inform you of the pending doom of losing money in the following year's return if they are not going to school full time or make too much money. Otherwise, the software has performed as I've come to expect in the past.
What's great about it: Simplicity of usage
What's not so great: Connectivity to a live tax representative

1099r asked about required minimum distribution. I though that appied onlyl to some ira s that I have. Why ask when I'm doing retirement payout where I used to work.
Too much government : drivers license, digitial siignatures, inadequate explananation what to do about e-filer attachment option. what the 555l is that. Then turbo tax says don't worry, well tell you. I really do not have a good feeling if I'm done with y taxes or not.

Taxes Made Easy

TurboTax makes me want to file my taxes because in almost every instance, I know I'll be getting a return.
What's great about it: It just keeps getting easier to file.
What's not so great: I didn't get a refund once, but TurboTax helped me prepare for following year.
