Tried other software once and ended up scrapping it and buying Turbo tax again. Its the best.

The program is easy to follow and covers the materiel well. I do wish that the total comparison pages between years was more readily accessible, throughout the process.
What's great about it: Easy step by step instructions.
What's not so great: Not necessarily easy to get to the exact page you might want.

Easy Path to OZ

Have used TurboTax for many years. I trust it to seamlessly tie data from previous return to the next. Love the electronic filing feature. Intuit has done a lot of programming features to make it secure. Actually looking forward to next year because of the overall relatively straight path from beginning to end!!!
What's great about it: Easy to navigate, stop and come back.
What's not so great: Still can be confusing about IRS rules.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I've been using Turbo Tax for years now. I couldn't do it by myself if it weren't for Turbo Tax. Would be helpful if it were easier to make changes on forms
What's great about it: Does walk you through everything
What's not so great: A little more answers or questions would be helpful

Way to go Turbo Tax

Why anyone who doesn't own a business uses a CPA to do their taxes is beyond me. Turbo Tax makes it so easy a kid could do it easily. I just did my taxes in less than one hour, a big part of that is because it pulled all my info and my w-2 from w-2 world and from last years taxes that were saved on my computer. I got a great return and I'm confident it is correct.
What's great about it: Even easier the second year than it was the first year.
What's not so great: none

I have been using Turbo tax since the early 90's. My satisfaction is demonstrated by my continual utilization.
