OK BUT

Overall good product for the money, but wish it could go into timber management costs for forest management.
What's great about it: Able to transfer information over from last year
What's not so great: Some of the newer questions in itemizing needs reviewing

I tried to file electronically but when I tried to get a PIN from your system I filled out the form to get the PIN 3 times and each time it asked me/showed me a warning from the feds and than had me fill out the form again. Therefore I could not/did not file electronically...frustrating and disappointing.
Also, I tried to follow the instructions to review my 1040 return but the instructions did not match the screen display as I followed them through...frustrating and disappointing AGAIN!
I have used Turbo tax for many years and this year was pretty crummy!

I like the step by step process of question and answer with an available explanation if desired. I really like the way it is written and the format, which works great for me.
What's great about it: simple and easy to use
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Use this every year! Learned in the past ........ if it's not broken don't fix it!! This program works.......just like it has for the past 7 years.
What's great about it: Follow the guide.....don't be creative.
What's not so great: Everything was Great! No cons.

THE DREADED BOX 13a

My return could not be filed until "Box 13a" was marked. Big deal? Yup! I didn't HAVE a Box 13a on my 1099's. I continued to get the ERROR notice displaying the little Box 13a... waiting to be filled. It wouldn't accept numbers so out of desperation, I simply typed in "CA" and that seemed to please the Box.
Maybe next year you might have that little glitch fixed!
Thanks so much for all the other great stuff!
What's great about it: Hmmmmmm.... Got a nice refund once the secret to Box 13a was revealed..
