2015 TurboTax Review

Very simple to use. If you have your tax forms, interest forms and DVM taxes ready (along with any other forms you may have), the process is very straight forward and organized.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Help areas were very when needed.
What's not so great: Would like to see more "auto-loads" (i.e., DMV taxes)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Some states, like Virginia, charge taxes for Internet sales that were not taxed. There are complication with the way this couples back to the next years payments/refunds. Turbo Tax does not ask the appropriate questions nor handle it correctly.
What's great about it: e-file
What's not so great: poor coupling to state tax rules

Good, not perfect this year

I was unable to enter my car registration this year. The program just kept spinning. The same thing happend on the health question. I was able to enter it by going to the form page. Other than these two problems everything went well. I have been using Turbo Tax for 10 to 15 years and this was the first time I had issues. I will be back again next year.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Got stuck in a couple of places

Turbo Tax 2015

I was very pleased with the 2015 Turbo Tax software. For the most part the questions were clear and easy to understand. The process was rather smooth and painless. I have used Turbo Tax in the past, and I am confident my return will be filled accurately. Plus, I assume the cost was less than if I had an accountant or other service complete my taxes.

Turbo Tax 2015 tax return

As always, Turbo tax is easy to use and walks you through step by step so you don't miss anything. If you are comfortable doing the return you can just skip the forms you need and pass on the ones you done

Data entry had some problems

Despite claiming that information was available on line to complete the worksheets and forms, TurboTax was unable to do so. All information had to be entered manually, including identification information which had clearly been copied from previous year's return, but didn't "stick." Some information entered had to be entered twice.
TurboTax also falsely claimed that a non-resident state return was required. I ignored this, and was able to file properly.

excellent program but need some experience

has been the standard for me for 5 or 6 years. Easy to use and sure beats paying some company $200.00 or more to make the entries that you can do with Turbo Tax. Great product
What's great about it: most entries are easy to understand and complete
What's not so great: royalties are sometimes hard to understand entries
