Good workhorse

While this continues to be a good overall program, it is a bit hard to make corrections between Fed and State returns. It is also overloaded with handling charges and filing fees that are excessive.

Disappointed

Couldn't update the files or download the state forms on my laptop. I even hooked up to the wire internet no luck. Finally, I borrowed another lap top and the program worked properly.
What's great about it: easy to follow

I will be sure to actually look at my return this year since in 2015 I never checked it... Turned out I owed estimated taxes, which I didn't pay!

TurboTax is excellent for end of year positioning and efficient filing at tax time. I highly recommend it to stay on top of tax issues.
What's great about it: Easy, to use, quick, efficient and reasonable pricing
What's not so great: Time to finalize and complete filing is longer than estimated

I did it! Filling my taxes this year was so easy!

I truly love how easy has been to do and file my taxes with Turbo Tax. Each item has an explanation link that clarifies most of the questions. The software guides you or allows you to pick your sections one at a time, so you can come back to them later. My only suggestion would be to have a section for review where not only the summary, but all sections are presented with the amount so it is easy for review.
I am a recent home owner, and as a naturalized US citizen this was not part of my culture, therefore, doing my taxes was something that would stress me out, and usually an area that I would have an accountant to take care of for me. However, I needed to plan way in advance so my accountant would have time to complete my taxes given that this time of the year is their busiest time. Now with Turbo tax, this is my second year of happiness during tax time, and I don't have to worry about my accountants long waiting line for tax preparation. I can get it done in few hours and have the refund be sent straight to my bank account. How convenient....
What's great about it: Easy to follow, matches your forms, clarifying links
What's not so great: To review you have to enter on Edit each section

Fine but could not recover my account

I was unable to either log into my TurboTax account or recover it. I entered all my info on the recover page but it didn't find me. Then when I tried to create a new account with a different email it said I already had an account. Not good.
What's great about it: Tax prep was great.
What's not so great: All the signing.

Simplified My Tax Season

I encourage anyone and everyone to buy Turbo Tax. If you don't have a ton of investments and properties its all you need!!
What's great about it: We were able to get our taxes done properly, save money and fit it into our hectic schedule
What's not so great: Hard to get answers to questions answered as fast as I'd like
